Legal framework for data protection
- What types of personal data are collected by the BCL and for what purpose?
All personal data (hereinafter referred to as "the data") collected by the BCL are processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016.
The BCL collects some of your personal data that is necessary to make the presentations proposed by the BCL, including identifying data (surname, first name, company name, e-mail address).
This data is only processed to enable the BCL organising and managing these presentations.
The BCL also collects some of your data through its video surveillance cameras, i.e. your image.
This data is collected only for the purpose of access controls, the security of persons on BCL premises and the protection of BCL property.
- Who will receive and have access to your data?
Your data is not transferred outside the BCL.
- How long is your data kept?
The data necessary for the organisation of guided tours shall be kept for a maximum period of one year from the day on which they were collected, and shall then be deleted.
Data collected in the context of access controls and the security of persons on BCL premises as well as the protection of BCL property are stored for a maximum of 6 months and then deleted.
- What are your rights?
You may at any time (under certain conditions for certain rights) request access to your data, their rectification, deletion, limitation or opposition to their processing.
