Current accounts
The BCL can open current accounts for credit institutions, public bodies and other market participants, according to the conditions fixed by the BCL in compliance with the rules applied by the Eurosystem. The current account is used by its holder for different operations with the central bank, including banknote operations and access to payment systems in Luxembourg.
