The Banque centrale du Luxembourg informs that contrary to certain press reports, Governor Yves Mersch never stated that the European Central Bank may consider easing its inflation limit.
In a recent interview he explicitly underlined that it was for him out of question of relaxing the ECB's 2 percent inflation limit but that communication issues are further debated.
